to
operate marinegear-clutch-
(neutral, forward, reverse) and
to
control the
engine speed.

to
the propeller shaft is
cut

handle
The handle controls the course
of
the boat
(ahead
or
astern) and, at
the
same time,
acts as an
accelerator increasing the engine
speed as it is pushed further
in
the FWD
or
REV
direction. If
the
handle is pulled out,
engine speed can be
controlled without
engaging
the
clutch (clutch remains
in
the
NEUTRAL, no
load position).

engine at
1000 rpm or lower before
engaging and disengaging the marine
gear-clutch.
