Clean dust and oil from the
motor surface.
Overloaded Try operating with no load
Reduce the load or replace
with a larger capacity Servo-
motor.
Abnormal noise Mechanical mounting incor-
rect
• Loose Servomotor mounting
screws?
• Coupling not centered?
• Coupling unbalanced?
• Tighten mounting screws.
• Center or balance the cou-
piing.
Bearing defective
Check for noise and vibration near
the bearing.
Contact your Yaskawa repre-
sentative if defective.
Vibration caused by the equip-
ment
Foreign objects, damage, or de-
formation of sliding parts.
Contact the equipment
manufacturer.
12.2 Troubleshooting
12.2.1 Servomotors
See Ta b l e 12.5 for the appropriate action when a problem occurs during operation, and be sure to
turn OFF the servo system power supply before commencing the procedures that are shaded. Con-
tact your Yaskawa representative immediately if the problem cannot be resolved using the de-
scribed procedures.
