To configure the delay time for dial-now rule via CommPortal phone configurator:
1. Click on Features->Dial Plan.
2. Select the desired value from the Time Out for all Dial-Now Rules field.
IP phone will automatically dial out the phone number which matches a dial-now rule
without pressing a send key.
The default delay time is 4(s).
3. Click Save changes to accept the change.
4. Perform auto provisioning on the phone to download above configurations. For more
information on how to perform auto provisioning, refer to Downloading Configuration
Files on page 11.
Live Dialpad
You can enable live dialpad on the CP860 IP conference phone, which enables the IP phone to
automatically dial out a phone number without the pressing of the send key. You can also
configure a delay, where the phone will dial out the phone number automatically after the
designated period of time.
To enable the live dialpad via CommPortal phone configurator:
1. Click on Features->Dial Plan.
2. Mark the Enabled radio box of the Live Dialpad Enabled field.
3. Select the delay time from the pull-down list of Automatically Outgoing Delay field.
The default delay time is 4(s).
4. Click Save changes to accept the change.
