Configuring Audio Features

Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) is used to remove acoustic echo from a voice
communication in order to improve the voice quality. It also increases the capacity
achieved through silence suppression by preventing echo from traveling across a
network. IP phones employ advanced AEC for hands-free operation. Echo cancellation
is achieved using the echo canceller.

AEC can be configured using the configuration files or locally.
Configuration File

Configure AEC.

Web User Interface
Configure AEC.
Navigate to:
http://<phoneIPAddress>/servl
et?p=settings-voice&q=load
To configure AEC via web user interface:
1. Click on Settings->Voice.
Utilizing acoustic echo cancellation will introduce a small delay increase into audio path
which might cause a lower voice quality.
