5.2 PERIODICAL CLEANING EVERY 6

5.2.1 CLEANING FLUE DUCT AND GENERAL CON
TROLS
• Clean the ue gas exhaust system especially near the tee
ttings, the elbows and any horizontal segments. Contact
specialised personnel for information regarding cleaning
of the ue.
• Check sealing of the ceramic bre gaskets on the boiler
door. If necessary, order new gaskets from your dealer or
contact an authorised assistance centre to perform the
operation.
The frequency to clean the ue gas system
depends on how the boiler is used and on the
type of installation. We recommend entrusting
maintenance and season end cleaning to an au-
thorised assistance centre because, aside from
performing the operations described above, they will also
perform a general check of the components.
5.3 SEASONAL CLEANING EVERY 12
MONTHS
In addition to the operations foreseen every 6 months, the fol-
lowing must also be performed:
• Replace the ignition cartridge (when used daily with more
than 3 ignitions a day);
• Inspect and clean the ue;
• Inspect the ue draught and clean it if necessary.
5.4 PUTTING OUT OF SERVICE SEASON
END
At the end of every season, before deactivating the stove, we
recommend completely removing the pellets from the tank
using a long tube vacuum cleaner.
The appliance must be unplugged while it is
not used. For greater safety, especially in the
presence of children, we recommend removing
the power cable.
If when restarting the stove and pressing the main switch the
control panel display does not switch on, it could mean that
the service fuse needs to be replaced.
There is a fuse box at the side of the stove near the power
socket. After having unplugged the appliance, use a screw-
driver to open the lid of the fuse box and replace the fuse if
necessary (3.15 A delayed).
The operation must only be carried out by an
authorised and qualied technician.

