REPLACEMENT OF THE ENGINE OIL
FULL-FLOW FILTER
Replace the engine oil filter at every
engine oil change. Before installation of
a new filter, clean the sealing surface of
the body (1) and the filter (2). Coat the
rubber seal with the same oil, with which
you will fill the engine and tighten the
new filter by hand. Tighten again the oil
filter by 3/4 to 1 1/4 turns after the seal
sits down on the block gasket. After
starting the engine, check the filter for
leaks.
FILLING THE ENGINE WITH OIL
Fill the prescribed quantity of oil into the
filler hole (2), start the engine and let it
run for 2 to 3 minutes at 750 to 800 rpm.
After stopping the engine and stabilizing
the engine oil level, check the oil level by
means of the dipstick (1). Check the oil
filter, drain plug (3) and other
connections for leaks.
