ADJUSTMENT OF INJECTORS
The operation opening pressure of injec-
tors is 22.0
-0.8
MPa. Adjust the pressure
to the upper limit of tolerance (22.0 MPa)
by means of the shims (1) of various
thicknesses, which are put under the
spring (2). The correct position of injec-
tion nozzle (3) is determined by position-
ing pins on the sealing surface. Torque
the fixing nut (4) to 50 - 60 Nm. Before
tightening of the nut, depress the nozzle
against the spring by pushing the nozzle
against a wooden plate.
ADJUSTMENT OF FREE TRAVEL OF
BRAKE PEDALS
Correct play between the piston rod of
brake pedal and the piston of main brake
cylinder is 0.5-1.0 mm (3 - 6 mm when
measured at the edge of brake pedals
with pedals unlatched). Adjust the play
with unlatched pedals after releasing the
adjusting nut (1), in which the piston rod
is screwed.
