You can set the amount of time that the display backlight stays lit.

Use to select SYSTEM, and then
press .

Use to select BACK LIGHT, and then
press .

Use to select the amount of time, and

Setting Explanation
OFF The backlight stays unlit.
ON The backlight stays lit when the unit is on.
15sec The backlight stays lit for 15 seconds after the last time that a control
(besides MIC GAIN) was used.
30sec The backlight stays lit for 30 seconds after the last time that a control
(besides MIC GAIN) was used.
Adjusting the display contrast

Press .
2.
Use to select SYSTEM, and then
press .
3.
Use to select DISPLAY CONTRAST, and
then press .
4.
Use to adjust the contrast, and then
press .
NOTE
∙ The contrast can be set to a value from 1–8.
∙ The higher the number, the greater the contrast.
