Using optional remote controls
The M4 can be operated from a distance by using an optional remote control.
1. Connect the remote control to the REMOTE jack on the M4.

Remote control (RC2, RC4, RCH-5 or RCH-6)
2. Use the remote control.
NOTE:
• The REC button and REC indicator of the RC2 correspond with those on the M4.
• The REC, PLAY, STOP, FF, REW and VOLUME buttons and the REC indicator of the RC4 correspond with
those on the M4.
• The REC, PLAY, STOP, FF, REW and VOLUME buttons and the REC and PLAY indicators of the RCH-5 and
RCH-6 correspond with those on the M4.
• Operation with the remote control is possible even when the M4 hold function is enabled. (→ Preventing
