7.1SAFETYEQUIPMENT
A. Anti-TwoBlockSystem
Examinetheanti-twoblockswitchesontheboom,thejibandauxiliarysheaveheadsfor
damage.Makesurethattheswitchweightsoperatecorrectlyandtheyareonthelift
cableinthecorrectposition.Examinetheelectricalequipmentandwiresthatattachto
thecablereel.Doaninspectionofthewiresalongthelengthofthecable.Lookfor
indicationsofwear,damageorincorrectinstallation.Makesurethatthetensiononthe
spring-loadedcablereeliscorrectandthatthereelturnsfreely.
Note
Whenyoudoacheckoftheanti-twoblockswitchfunction,youmustmovethe
anti-twoblockweightwiththehookblock.
B. RatedCapacityIndicator
Whentheactualloadisneartheratedone,itsendsoutacousticsound.Youcanonlydo
safecranemovementsthatareonthescreenatthistime.Movetheloadintoapermitted
conditiontostopalarmsandcontinuecorrectcraneoperation.Fordetails,pleasereferto
RatedCapacityIndicatorManual.
C. EmergencyStop
(1)Youcanfindtheemergencystopbuttononthelowerleftsideofthedash.
(2)Whenyoupushthebutton,allcraneoperationsimmediatelySTOP(includesthe
engine).Turnthebuttonclockwisetoreleaseitandcontinueusualcraneoperation.
(3)OnlyusetheEMERGENCYSTOPBUTTONinaclearemergency!

Whenthereareonly3wrapsofwireroperemainingonthewinch,thewinch(mainor
auxiliary)doesnotturn.Whenthisoccurs,youcanonlydo “BoomRetract” and “Winch
up” operations.
E. SeatOccupiedIndicator
(1)Thisindicatorilluminateswhentheseatswitchisactivatedbysittingintheoperator
seat.
(2)Theseatswitchcontrolsthefunctionsoftheleftandrightjoystickaswellasthe
boomtelescopingextend/retractfootpedal.
(3)Onlywhentheoperator'sseatisoccupiedandtheicon onthedisplayislit
willthecranefunctionsbeactive(viajoystickandtelescopingpedal).
Caution
Whendrivingthecrane,thejoysticksandboomextend/retractpedal
remainactive.Craneoperationscanoccurifeitherjoysticksorpedalare
usedunintentionally.
