BOOMRETRACTING
a) Makesuretheseatoccupiedandactivatethepedaltoretracttheboom;
b) Tiltthepedalbackwardtoretracttheboom.IftelescopingcylinderIIisactivated,telescopic
sections2,3and4retract.WhencylinderIIisfullyretracted,LMIwillalarm.Pushbuttonon
LMItochangetocylinderI.Thetelescopicsection1willthenretract;
c) Aftertheboomretractstorequiredposition,slowlytiltthepedalforwardtoneutral
position.

Caution
(1)Thehookwillberaisedorloweredduringtheprocessofboomextendingand
retracting.Therefore,movetherelevantjoysticktopayoutortakeinthehoist
ropetoregulatethehookheight.Theoperationmustbeslowlyandstably;
(2)Thespeedofcranemovement “Boomextending/retracting” canbecontrolled
byTHROTTLEPEDAL.Tiltthepedalallthewayforwardforhighspeedextend
orretract.Donotchangethespeedjerkilytoensurestablemovements;
(3)Waitfor2secondstoextendtheboomafterboomfullyretracted;
(4)Lifttheloadverticallyanditisforbiddentolifttheloaddiagonally.Donot
laterallydragtheloadwhichisstillontheground;
(5)Itisforbiddentousethebypasskeyswitchexceptundercommissioningand
maintenance;
(6)Theboomwillberetractedalittleautomaticallyaftertheboomisextendedfora
periodoftime;
Cause:
- Variationofhydraulicoiltemperature;
- Boomextension/retractionstatus,boomangle;
- Lubricatingstatus.
Solutions:
- Keepthehydraulicoiltemperaturenottorisetoohigh;
- Extendtheboomtothedesiredlength.
(7)Donotextend/retracttheboomwithload.
