WPA2 Mixed is the collection of WPA and WPA2
encryption modes. The wireless client establishes the
connection between the modem through WPA or
WPA2.
Key differences between WPA and WEP are user
authentication and improved data encryption. Currently
WEP is considered easily vulnerable.
When WPA or WPA2 is selected, you can select WPA
encryption as AES or TKIP+AES.
Select PSK (Pre-Shared Key); enter the
pre-shared key in the Pre-Shared Key field.
Select Enterprise (RADIUS) if you have an
external accounts’ server. Enter the port, IP address,
and password of the Radius server. You need to enter
the username and password provided by the Radius
server when the wireless client connects the modem.

Update Interval
When WPA encryption is applied, messages sent are
encrypted with a password. For higher security, WPA
password is updated periodically. This value is the
update interval of the WPA password.
