I cannot see or access the Login screen in the web configurator.
1 Make sure you are using the correct IP address.
The default IP address is 192.168.1.1.
If you changed the IP address, use the new IP address.
If you changed the IP address and have forgotten it, see the troubleshooting suggestions for I
forgot the IP address for the WAH7706.
2 Make sure the WAH7706 is correctly installed and turned on. See the Quick Start Guide and Section
1.5 on page 9.
3 Make sure your Internet browser does not block pop-up windows and has JavaScripts and Java
enabled.
4 Make sure your computer is connected to the WAH7706 and is in the same subnet as the WAH7706.
5 Reset the device to its factory defaults, and try to access the WAH7706 with the default IP address.
See Section 1.7 on page 11.
6 Disconnect your computer from the Internet (Wireless and/or Ethernet) and then insert the
WAH7706 again.
7 If the problem continues, contact the vendor.
I forgot the password.
1 The default password is admin or guest.
2 If this does not work, you have to reset the device to its factory defaults. See Section 1.7 on page
11.
I can see the Login screen, but I cannot log in to the WAH7706.
1 Make sure you have entered the user name and password correctly. The default password is 1234.
This fields are case-sensitive, so make sure [Caps Lock] is not on.
2 This can happen when you fail to log out properly from your last session. Try logging in again after
five minutes.
3 Disconnect and connect to the WAH7706 again.
4 If this does not work, you have to reset the device to its factory defaults. See Section 1.7 on page
11.
