9.8 Wireless LAN Advanced Screen
Use this screen to configure advanced wireless LAN parameters.
Click Network > Wireless LAN (2.4G/5G) > Advanced. The screen appears as shown.

9.9 WPS Screen
Use this screen to enable/disable WPS, view or generate a new PIN and check current WPS status.
To open this screen, click Network > Wireless LAN (2.4G/5G) > WPS tab.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
RTS/CTS
Threshold
Data with its frame size larger than this value will perform the RTS (Request To Send)/
CTS (Clear To Send) handshake.
Enter a value between 0 and 2347.
Fragmentation
Threshold
The threshold (number of bytes) for the fragmentation boundary for directed messages.
It is the maximum data fragment size that can be sent. Enter an even number between
256 and 2346.
Preamble Type A preamble affects the timing in your wireless network. There are two preamble modes:
long and short. If a device uses a different preamble mode than the WRE6505 does, it
cannot communicate with the WRE6505.
Apply Click Apply to save your changes to the WRE6505.
Cancel Click Cancel to return to the previous menu without saving.
