Defining Port
Settings
The Port Administration Setup Page allows network managers to
configure port parameters for specific ports.
Monitor users have no access to this page.
To configure Port Settings:
1 Click Port > Administration > Setup. The Port Administration Setup
Page opens:

The Port Administration Setup Page contains the following fields:
■ Port State — Defines the port state. The possible values are:
■ No Change — Retains the current port status.
■ Enable — Enables the port.
■ Disable — Disables the port.
■ Speed — Defines the configured rate for the port. The port speed
determines what speed setting options are available. Port speeds can
only be configured when auto negotiation is disabled. The possible
field values are:
