Multi-key function

A multi-key programmed phone has only one directory number, but has personalised keys
to enable it to process several calls at the same time. Therefore, you can answer your par-
ties as the calls arrive and display the calls on hold.
Note: This function will be programmed by your system operator. You must ask for a per-
sonalized key to be programmed for each call that you want to make at the same time. Ex-
ample: for three simultaneous calls, ask for the multi-key function to be programmed on
three keys.
Communicating with the multi-key function
The multi-key function must be programmed on at least two keys.
* Depending on the programming performed by the system operator.
To answer a call:
When a call arrives on your phone that is multi-key programmed,
the indicator associated to the personalized key flashes.
Note: Depending on the associated system version, you must lift
the handset before carrying out the operation.
• Press the programmed key.
Pick up the handset to talk with the party.
-> The indicator associated to this key stays permanently on. The
display shows the calling party's identity.
To answer a second call:
If another party tries to reach you, you will hear a beep and the
indicator associated to the second programmed key flashes.
• Press the programmed key with the flashing indicator to answer
to the second party.
-> The indicator associated to this key stays permanently on.
• While in communication with the second party.
-> The screen displays the identity of the party that you are talking
to.
• The other party is put on hold.
-> The indicator associated to this key flashes rapidly.
