Locking the phone
This function is used, for example, to prohibit in your absence outgoing calls from your
phone and access to the logs (outbound and inbound call log) as well as to your private
directory.
Important: Before locking your phone, you must have personalised the secret code on
your phone (see "Personalising the phone’s secret code", Page 52).
Activating the phone lock
You want to activate the lock on your phone:
Calling an external party from the locked phone
You have locked your phone and want to selectively call an external party without deacti-
vating the lock.

• Press successively the following key: * 0 5 or .
-> The display shows "
SET LOCKED".
Note: Terminal locked, but you can call an internal party.

1 - Dial the outside line access code (0 or ).
-> The screen prompts you to enter your secret code.
2 - Enter your phone's secret code.
• If you make a mistake, you must repeat the operation.
-> As soon as the code is validated, outside access is authorized.
You can dial the party's number.
When the called party answers, pick up the handset to talk.
At the end of the call, the phone goes back to the locked state.
