Alphanumeric keypad
The alphanumeric keypad is used to enter letters and digits. The entry is based on the
equivalence of the keys with letters or signs.
Standard codes
This document describes the standard access codes to the different functions, which may
be personalised by the system operator. In that case, the operator will indicate to you the
specific access codes to enter in the spaces reserved for that purpose (for example: Dial-
out code
0 or ; enter the personalised code in the frame).
To enter a text:
Select the required character by successively pressing the
corresponding key.
Example:
On pressing the key 2 once, the letter A is displayed,
On pressing the key 2 a second time, the letter B is displayed,
On pressing the key 2 a third time, the letter C is displayed,
On pressing the key 2 a fourth time, the numeral 2 is displayed.
Key 1 is used to enter the following characters:
- / : " , < > = + ? ! % 1
Note: All letters are entered in upper-case only.
To enter a letter which is located on a different key:
Press immediately another key to enter the letter according to
the same principle.
To enter a different letter which is located on the same key:
Wait until the cursor flashes at the next position.
