Communicating with the supervision function

You have programmed the supervision function of a phone on a programmable key.
On your phone, the status of the indicator associated with the programmed key varies
according to the status of the supervised phone.
• When the supervised phone is in standby, the indicator
associated with the key is off.
• When the line of the supervised phone is busy, the indicator
associated with the key is on.
• When a call arrives on the supervised phone, the indicator
associated with the programmed key flashes rapidly and if
programmed, your phone emits an audible signal*.
To pick up a call:
The supervised phone is called and you want to pick up the call:
• Press the programmed key then lift the handset to talk to the
party.
-> The indicator associated with the programmed key goes off.
To transfer an inbound call to the supervised phone:
You are in communication with a party and you want to transfer the
call to the supervised phone:
• Press the programmed key then hang up.
-> The indicator associated to the programmed key lights up.
To call the supervised phone:
You want to call the designated user of the supervised phone:
• Press the programmed key.
-> The indicator associated to the programmed key lights up.
When the called party answers, pick up the handset to talk.
