6 The Tools key can be used to access:
• The programming of the keys (numbers and functions),
• The settings of the phone (ringing and contrast),
• Customisation of the phone (management of directories).
7 Directory key for:
• 1 key stroke: access to the call-by-name function
• 2 key strokes: access to abbreviated numbers
• 3 key strokes: access to the list of received calls

R key (flashing):
• Ongoing call, access to numbers (e.g.: call a second
party).
Key for direct access to the voice mailbox:
• can be used in standby for an automatic callback of the
voice mailbox, with or without a message notification.
9 - / + keys:
Volume control (handset and loudspeaker, ringer, beep
heard when silent key is pressed) and screen contrast
control keys
Consult keys in call by name mode
10 Red key for:
• Stop the ringing during an inbound call (the message LED
continues to flash),
• Terminate an ongoing call,
• Reset a setting or exit a programming sequence during
programming.
11 L1/L2 programmable keys, with associated LEDs:
These keys can be used for the same programming
functions as the keys on the upper part of the phone, but
they have no associated labels.
12 Loudspeaker key for activating or deactivating the group
listening mode during an ongoing call.
The associated LED lights up.
13 Secret key, ongoing call:
• Cuts off the mic of the handset during a call in order to
have a confidential conversation without the contact
person noticing it.
The associated indicator lights up to indicate that the
function is activated.

Alphanumeric keypad:
• Allows to dial numbers or to enter text.
