5.5.2 Service PC
The Ethernet interface can also be used to connect a service PC using a crossed
Ethernet cable.
5.6 COM Port
The COM port (V.24-1 interface) on the MC+1-3 central control module can be
used to connect a PC for the purpose of transmitting connection data. Connection
data can be analysed in detail with the connection data recording program Open-
Count.
Please note: The COM port cable must not be longer than 3 metres.
The V.24 interface uses a transmission rate of 19.2 kbits/s.
Note: A special 10-pin cable is required for connecting ap-
paratus to the V.24-1 interface. Contact your DeTeWe distri-
butor or local retailer if you want to purchase one of these
cables.
