What this chapter contains
This chapter
• describes the connections of the control units used in the drive,
• contains the specifications of the inputs and outputs of the control units.
General
The ACS880-07XT drive utilizes BCU-02 control units. The BCU-02 consists of a BCON-
12 control board (and a BIOC-01 I/O connector board and power supply board) built in a
metal housing.
ACS880-07XT is controlled by a dedicated BCU-02 control unit. The designation of the
control unit is A41. It connect to the modules by fiber optic cables.
In this manual, the name “BCU-x2” or “BCU-02” represents the control unit types BCU-02.
