6.8 Bonding of Sensor Cable Shield
6.8 .1 Shield connection at relay side
Remove the isolation of the sensor cable for the specifi c section at relay side.•
About 15 cm before the connector, typical.
The braid to be mounted at the rear of the relay at the mechanical support.•
Insert into braid and close it•
Tighten screws and check that cable didn’t get sandwich or damaged through •
misalignment
This shall result in a short and big area connection of the sensor cable shield to •
the chassis resp. GND
The braid shall have a similar construction as shown on image below•
