Introduction
The general check is necessary:
• when the circuit-breaker is put into service for the first time
• after prolonged inactivity of the circuit-breaker
HAZARD! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Test the circuit-breaker with all switchgear apparatus
de-energized.
IMPORTANT: The verifications involve procedures which must only be performed by
persons skilled in the electrical field (IEV 195-04-01): person with sufficient training and
experience to enable him or her to perceive risks and avoid the dangers potentially
created by electricity).
