Special conditions for IECEx, flameproof enclosures
• The positioner is designed for a maximum acceptable ambient temperature range
between -40 … 85 °C.
• If the positioner is used at an ambient temperature above 60 °C or below -20 °C, use cable
entries and lines approved for a service temperature corresponding to the maximum ambient
temperature increased by 10 K or corresponding to the minimum ambient temperature,
respectively.
• Variants that also meet the requirements for the "intrinsically safe" type of ignition protection
may not be used as "intrinsically safe", if they have been previously used as a flameproof
type of ignition protection.
