6. Battery and accumulator information
• Batteriesmustbekeptoutofthereachofchildren.
• Checkthatthepolarityiscorrectwheninsertingthebatteries/accumulators.
• Donotleavethebatterieslyingaroundintheopen;thereisariskoftheirbeingswallowedby
childrenordomesticanimals.Ifswallowed,contactadoctorimmediately.
• Leakingordamagedbatteries/accumulatorscancauseburningiftheycomeintocontactwith
theskin.Forthisreasonyoushouldusesuitableprotectivegloves.
• Makesurethatbatteries/accumulatorsarenotbeshort-circuitedorthrownintoare;thereis
ariskofexplosion!
• Nevertakethebatteries/accumulatorsapart!
• Normalbatteriesmaynotberecharged.Thereisariskofexplosion!
• Incaseoflongerperiodsofnon-use(e.g.duringstorage)removetheinsertedbattery/accumu-
latortoavoiddamagethroughaleakingbattery/accumulator.
• Alwaysreplacethewholesetofbatteries.Onlyusebatteries/accumulatorsofthesametype/
manufacturer.
• Nevermixbatterieswithaccumulators!
