Conditions which clear the error register
When the power is turned on.
When “*CLS” is executed.
The error register is not cleared by executing “*ERR?”.
Table 4-4 Error Register
bit Description
0 ON: Sets to 1 if the result of the ZERO execution contains an error.
1 ON: Sets to 1 when the sensor is disconnected.
2 ON: Sets to 1 if the sum of the data, which is read from the sensor, contains an error.
3 ON: Sets to 1 if the power is turned on and any of the following self test errors occur.
ROM sum check error
RAM read/write error
Calibration data sum check error
Setting parameter sum check error
4 ON: Sets to 1 if an error occurs at the AD conversion.
5 ON: Sets to 1 if an error occurs at the USB communication.
6 ON: Sets to 1 if the battery voltage drops.
7 ON: Sets to 1 if the zero does not converge at the IV offset calibration or the full scale can
not be calibrated.
8 Not used, Fixed to 0
9 Not used, Fixed to 0
10 Not used, Fixed to 0
11 Not used, Fixed to 0
12 ON: Sets to 1 if the argument of the remote command has an error.
13 ON: Sets to 1 if an error occurs at the remote command execution.
14 ON: Sets to 1 if the remote command format has an error.
15 ON: Sets to 1 if an unrecognized remote command is received.
