Intel VE Subsystem Configuration
VE refers to Intel Virtualization Engine. Access to the PBA area is permitted via the
VE by using the VE Command Interface (VECI), or via the Intel ME by using the Intel
AT-d Host Command Interface (DHCI); which uses HECI. The VE can ensure that
access requests outside the PBA ranges are prevented given that PBA code exe-
cutes on the host processor.
