Why is the top thread breaking on my AEG 110?
    • J
      James GregoryAug 2, 2025
The top thread may break due to several reasons: improper threading, excessively tight top tension, a blunt or bent needle, incorrect needle fixing, the top and bottom threads not being correctly fixed beneath the presser foot at the start of sewing, the yarn not being threaded to the back at the end of sewing, or using a thread that is excessively thick or thin relative to the needle. Check the threading, and consider changing the needle.

Check the power connector. Check and clean the shuttle. Check and pull/push the bobbin winding pin to its primary position.
