Turn off the power switch and unplug
the machine before cleaning.
Do not dismantle the machine other
than as explained in this section.

To dismantle the hook race

a: Raise the needle to its highest
position and open the Shuttle cover
.
b: Open the hinged Latch of the
Bobbin Case and take it out of
the machine.
c: Open the Shuttle Race Cover
Holder .
d: Remove the Shuttle Race Cover .
e: Remove the Shuttle .
f: Clean the Shuttle Race with a
brush and soft dry cloth.
To oil the shuttle race
g: Before assembling the shuttle race,
oil the shuttle race using a few drops
of fine quality sewing machine oil .
Note: Use oil sparingly as over oiling
will cause it to leak onto your fabric.
