In the lower part of the governor (not shown in the fi gure), there
are two further adjustment trimmers:
• BP proportional band, determines the response of the valve;
• LIMIT, outside air temperature below which the electrical
resistance is activated.
N.B: for further information, refer to the documentation
supplied with the unit, and if necessary contact the appropriate
technical assistance service.
Advanced control ANZ J - Control unit RE037A
The regulation device RE037A
allows you to manage a motorised
three-way valve of the type with
three-contact command, typically
used to power a radiant panel. It
works as a thermostat for outside air,
to enable the integration electrical
resistance below a threshold that can
be set (default value 0°C, adjustable
between -5 and + 5°C). By means
of external contacts, it allows you
to activate the economy function
(reduction of the set point of a value
that can be set by the user) and the

Factory settings (recommended values):
The value thus calculated is compared with
that read by the water probe (included in the
package, to be installed on the power supply
tube of the panel, at the outlet of the motorised
valve). Depending on the difference shown,
the control unit determines the activation of the
opening and closing relays of the actuator. The
independence of the calculated temperature
from the room temperature ensures stable
working, even in the event of sudden variations
such as the opening of doors or windows. To
take into account the contribution of free heat
(for instance solar radiation), when the ambient
probe shows a temperature of 2 degrees higher
than the set point, the closing relay of the valve
is activated to interrupt the supply of hot water
from the heat pump.

Description of the control unit:
antifreeze function (reduction of the
set point to 5°C). N.B: the RE037A is
only suitable for the heating mode.
The control unit acts on the opening
of the three-way valve (not supplied),
keeping the temperature of the
water sent to the radiant panel at
an optimum value; this optimum
value is calculated and continuously
updated on the basis of the following
elements:
• outside temperature, read by an outside
probe included in the package (SAE);
• room temperature, read by a probe
included in the package and to be
installed in the air-conditioned room
(SAI);
• heating set point (the temperature
that you want in the air-conditioned
room, and which can be set by
means of the trimmer of the control
unit (trimmer E);
• gradient (the increase in the
optimum temperature of the water
for a 1 degree reduction in the
outside temperature (trimmer B).
