9.5. MINIMUM CLEARANCES FOR INDOOR UNIT

drain connection supplied with the unit
(external diameter of the connection
= 15.8mm) must be installed below the
base of the outdoor unit and connected
to a pipe of a suitable diameter.
• The site of installation must be posi-
tioned so that the discharge air outlet
is not exposed to strong winds and the
air discharged must be free to disperse
into the atmosphere.
• Seal up any holes in the base which are
not connected to a drain pipe.
