(10) DME Squitter
TEST EQUIPMENT: Frequency Counter
VERIFICATION FAILURE: If any step in this procedure fails or is out of tolerance,
this indicates a failure in the Test Set. Refer to
Troubleshooting for corrective action.
STEP PROCEDURE
1. Connect the UUT Sync connector to the frequency counter.
2. Set the counter for a 10 second gate time.
3. Press the DME Key to display the DME screen
4. Set up the UUT as follows:
CHAN: 17X
RATE: STOP
RANGE: 0.0nm
SQTR: ON
IDENT: OFF
ECHO: OFF
5. Press the RUN TEST Soft Key.
5. Verify the frequency equals 2700Hz ± 54Hz on the frequency counter.
6. Press the STOP TEST Soft Key.
