5. Troubleshooting guide
Many issues can be contributed to connectors installed incorrectly or wires damaged. Please be careful and alert
when installing.
GPS antenna not working all the time.
Check the TNC connection at both the antenna and receiver for any issues such as looseness and moisture. Sometimes
moisture is an issue reducing the gain of the signal to the receiver.
GPS receiver problems
The GPS receiver has three leds on the front plate of the unit. The following chart shows the color and meaning of each
led.
Red LED
Power indicator
With no Red Led please check the power cable to the receiver
Blue LED
GPS signal
No Blue Led check the antenna connection (TNC)
Green LED
Communication to console
No Green LED check the cable connection to the console
