1.2 Installation Standards / Responsibility
Operators must ensure that correct aircraft standards of workmanship and airworthiness procedures are
followed per FAA or TRANSPORT CANADA regulations. The services of a FAA or TRANSPORT CANADA
licensed avionics shop or A&P mechanic are advised. Before flight, a person with FAA or TRANSPORT
CANADA inspection authorization should approve the installation for each aircraft.
The aircraft operator is responsible for ensuring that FAA or TRANSPORT CANADA regulations, applying to
the installation of the AG-NAV System in the aircraft are followed. Ag-Nav Inc. provides these instructions as a
guide to customers and assumes no responsibility or liability for the installation in individual aircraft.
This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy if not installed and used in
accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of
this equipment in a residential area likely to cause harmful interference, in which case the user will be required
to correct the interference at their own expense.
