Exchanging a Flow Cell
When required If an application needs a different type of flow cell or the flow cell needs
repair.
Tools required Two 1/4 inch wrenches for capillary connections
Parts required Standard flow cell, 10 mm, 13 µl, 120 bar, G1315-60022
Semi-micro flow cell, 6 mm, 5 µl, 120 bar, G1315-60025
Micro flow cell, 3 mm, 2 µl, 120 bar, G1315-60024
High pressure flow cell, 6 mm, 1.7 µl, 400 bar, G1315-60015
Nano flow cell, refer to
“Nano Flow Cell - Replacing or Cleaning” on page 123
Preparations Turn the lamp(s) off.
Remove the front cover.
1 Press the release buttons and remove the front cover to
have access to the flow cell area.
2 Press the release button and open the flow cell door.
