Instruction
For reasons of hygiene, the cabinet should also be
completely defrosted manually and cleaned once or
twice a year ( see Chapter 11).
Operate the cabinet in an ambient temperature range
of 16 °C (60.8 °F) to the maximum temperature per-
missible for its climate class (e.g. climate class 3).
The climate class permissible for the cabinet (maxi-
mum ambient temperature, maximum relative humid-
ity) and other important technical information can be
found on the rating plate.

This cabinet is only suitable for storing frozen and
deep-frozen food products. Product temperature
class L1 (–15 °C to –18 °C) for use of cabinets up to
climate class 3 in accordance with ISO 23953-2.
Any other use or use of the cabinets that is beyond
what is specified is deemed to be not for the intend-
ed purpose. Any resulting damage is not covered by
the manufacturer’s warranty.
Please ensure that the cabinet is at the correct tem-
perature before storing products inside.
There must be regular monitoring by trained operat-
ing personnel to ensure the fault-free condition and
correct usage of the cabinets. The cabinets must be
monitored on a regular basis to ensure that products
that have been stored incorrectly by third parties (e.g.
by customers) are removed.
4. Unpacking and handling
note
In order to prevent the cabinet from being damaged,
it must only be transported and stored in the posi-
tion of use.
A visual inspection must be carried out before and
during unpacking of the cabinet to determine any
damage that may have occurred during transit.

Please check for loose parts, dents, scratches, visible
loss of liquid, etc. Any damage must be reported to
your competent AHT service partner immediately be-
fore commissioning the cabinet.
Before disposing of the packaging material, this
material should be checked for any loose functional
parts.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock
A damaged cabinet may cause a short
circuit or electric shock.
Do not under any circumstances con-
nect a damaged cabinet to the electric
circuit.
Please contact your competent AHT
service partner (see Chapter 16)
note
The local AHT service partner must be contacted
when reporting any damage.(see Chapter 16)
5. Installation
notes
The cabinet should not be exposed to direct sun-
light and during operation should not heat to more
than +50 °C (+122 °F), and when not operating (e.g.
transport, storage) to more than +70 °C (+158 °F).
The cabinet should be operated in an environment
defined by the climate class (see rating plate).
The following points must be adhered to when
assembling the cabinet:
- The cabinet must be installed correctly, permanently
and horizontally in the position of use on the stand
provided.
- The ventilation openings of the cabinet must be kept
free.
- The minimum distance from adjacent walls and oth-
er appliances depends on the design and the pre-
scribed stand/dual stand.
