240V, 50Hz for UK and Australia
110V-120V/220V-240V, 50/60Hz convertible for other
countries
Voltage conversion
(Not on all models)
Models for Europe, UK and Australia are not equipped
with this facility. Each unit is preset at the factory accord-
ing to its destination, but some units can be adjusted to
110V-120V or 220V-240V as required.
If your unit's voltage can be converted:
Before connecting the power cord, move the VOLTAGE
SELECTOR located on the rear panel with a screwdriver
until the correct voltage is indicated.
This equipment conforms to No. 82/499/EEC stan-
dard.

About the POWER switch
This CD (Compact Disc) player is not equipped with a
primary power switch. Even when the CD player’s
POWER button is set to STANDBY .m, the power supply
to this CD player is not completely turned off. If you wish
to completely turn the power off, disconnect the power
cord from the household AC outlet.
