About
FM
auto
tuning
When
the
tuning
band
is
set
to
FM
auto
(FM-A),
the
ste-
reo
mode’s
automatic
selection
function
will
operate.
When
the
tuned
station
is
a
stereo
broadcast,
the
“STE-
REO’
indicator
will
light.
If
reception
is
weak:
If
reception
of
the
FM
station
is
weak,
causing
the
STE-
REO
indicator
to
flicker,
set
the
band
to
“FM”.
Although
the
stereo
broadcast
will
be
switched
to
mono,
noise
and
distortion
will
be
reduced
resulting
in
clearer,
easier
to
hear
reception.
