Because
of
considerations
concerning
copyright
etc.,
the
Recording
on
MDs
is
carried
out
using
a
different
system
to
following
rules
apply
to
discs
dubbed
from
digitally
recorded
~
the
traditional
system
employed
on
cassette
decks
and
DATs.
CD,
MD
and
DATs
etc
using
the
optical
digital
terminal.
Because
of
this
difference,
MDs
have
system
limitations
that
will
sometimes
result
in
the
following
conditions.

separates
the
data

dubbing

records
it

an
empty
space.
During
record-
ing, when the number of separated sections increases,
“FULL” may appear. When a separated section of less
than 8 seconds has been created, that song can not be
joined using the join function. Also, erasing that section
will not increase the remaining time. When searching for
songs that have been finely separated and recorded,
sound drop out may occur.

remaining recordable time does not total the maxi-
mum recordable time (74 minutes. 60 minutes.) of
the disc.
