About
MD
data
writing
When
ejecting
an
MD
after
recording
or
editing
of
its
con-
tents,
the
disc
will
be
ejected
after
MD
data
writing
has
finished
(“WRITING?”
will
be
displayed
on
the
FL
display
at
this
time).
Also,
when
the
power
is
turned
off
while
an
MD
is
still
loaded,
the
power
will
be
cut
after
writing
has
finished.

After
MD
recording
or
editing,
do
not
suddenly
cut
the
power
by
unplugging
the
power
cord
from
the
AC
power
outlet.
This
may
cause
improper
recording.
Always
fin-
ish
writing

disc

turn
the
power
off.

Insert
the
MD
fully
into
the
MD
slot
in
the
direction
of
the
arrow
(4/4)
with
the
label
side
facing
up.

When
recording

a
CD,
it
is
necessary
to
connect
the
CD
player
and
MD
with
an
optical
cable.
If
an
optical
fiber
cable
is
not
connected,
and
recording

attempted,
“UNLOCK”
will
appear
on
the
FL
display
and
recording
will
not
be
possible.

The
FL
display
will
change
as
follows
according
to
the
recorded
condition
of
the
loaded
MD.

Track
numbers
are
necessary

search

the
CD
track
is
changed
during
recording
from
a
CD,
a
track
number
will
be
assigned.
However,
when
recording
classic
music
or
a
live
per-
formance,
track
numbers
may
not
be
assigned.

assigned
manually
as

recording,

DIVIDE
button
at
the
point
that
you
want
to
assign
a
track
number.
