The
track
numbers
on
a
CD
can
be
edited
automatically
to
fit
within
the
recordable
time
of
the
A
and
B
sides
of
the
cassette
tape
that
you
are
recording
on.

Press
the
CD
button
to
set
the
input
source
to
“CD”
and
load
the
CD
and
tape.
Load
the
tape
with
the
A
side
facing
up.
Press the EDIT button.
“EDIT” and “C-4” will flash on the FL display after CD
data has been read.

Press the +10 button until “C-6” appears and then
press the 0 button.
If you have selected the wrong tape length, press the
CLEAR button to cancel the setting, then repeat the
operation.
After the tape length has been set, pressing the EDIT
button once again will display the track numbers that
will be recorded on side B and the remaining record-
ing time.

4 Press the > button to start CD edit recording.
The tape will be rewound to the beginning of side A and
recording and CD playback will automatically start at
the same time.
© Pressing the ® button while the B side indicator is
displayed will start recording of only the B side
programme.

have

A 4 second blank space can be automatically created be-
tween tracks.
1 During recording, press the TAPE REC te!/ © button
where you want to create the blank space.
The auto mute mode will be engaged, and the REC
indicator will flash quickly while a blank space is cre-
ated. After 4 seconds the recording standby mode will
be engaged.
Bulk erase
Use this feature to erase tapes that have been recorded on.
1 Load the tape you want to erase.
2 Press the le! / O button to engage the recording
standby mode.
3 Press the !et / O button again 2 times in a row.
The REC indicator will flash quickly and bulk erasing
will begin.
Note:
© Bulk erase will not function when the source input is set to
“TAPE”.
