Volume adjustment
Adjust the volume with the main unit's VOLUME control or
the remote control’s VOLUME A / \~ buttons.
When the volume is adjusted, the volume level will appear
on the FL display for a few seconds.

Mute
The volume can be cut temporarily by pressing the MUTE
MUTE button on the remote control. When the mute mode is en-
gaged, the power indicator will change to orange and flash.
Pressing the MUTE button again will return the volume to
| | “|: | | the original level. Turning the power off during the mute
VOLUME mode will cancel the mute mode.
Dynamic Super Bass
Press the system's DYNAMIC SUPER BASS button to en-
gage the super bass mode. The indicator will light to indi-
cate that super bass is engaged. Super bass boosts the
bass at low volume levels. The effect will be lessened when
DYNAMIC
SUPER BASS

© the volume is set to a high level.
Press the DYNAMIC SUPER BASS button again to turn
the super bass mode off.
Loudness EQ (equalizer)
“Loudness” adds compensation to bass sounds that are
hard to hear at low volumes.
Loudness EQ adds an equalizer function, and allows se-
lection of the desired playback sound without loss of fidel-
ity.
* Press the LOUDNESS EQ L or H button to select bass
(L) or treble (H) and set the level (-3 ~ +3) with the JOG
dial.
© The loudness equalizer will be set to its flat setting when
the bass and treble levels are set to 0 (LO HO).
