MD playback
1 Insert an MD for playback.
“READING?’ will appear on the FL display while the MD’s
data is being read. After all data has been read, the
number of tracks recorded on the MD and total play-
back time will be displayed.
2 Press the MD button to select MD input and start
playback.

3 Press the m button to stop playback.
When the “MD” source input is selected, the remote
control’s basic operation buttons can be used to control
MD operations.

- © Insert the MD fully into the MD slot in the direction of the
arrow (4/4) with the label side facing up.
® Make sure that the MD is positioned correctly for inser-
tion. Do not force it into the slot.
@ When the MD is inserted the disc indicator will light, indi-
cating that the MD is inserted.
Direct search
The remote control's 10 key buttons can be used to start
playback from a specific track.
@ Using the 10 key buttons:
e To select track 4:
Press the 4 button.
© To select track 10:
Press the +10 button, then press the 0 button.
© To select track 31:
Press the +10 button 3 times, then press the 1 button.

© Press the ® / PI button to skip to the start of the
next track.
e Press the ké<d / <4 button to skip to the start of the
current playback track. Keep pressing the Mé<d / <<
button to skip tracks in the reverse direction.
® Tracks can also be skipped by turning the JOG dial.
