TAPE

and
start
tape
playback.

counter
display

appear

the

display.

the
tape

the
exposed
tape
side
facing
inward.

When
playing
the
A
side
of
the
tape
in
the
forward
direc-
tion
(regular
direction)

the
tape
with
the
A
side
facing
upward.

Press
the

button
to
open/close
the
cassette
tray.
Tape
slack
can
cause
the
tape
to
twist
and
tangle
around
the
capstan
and
pinch
roller,
damaging
the
tape.
Before
using
a
cassette
tape,
take
up
the
tape
slack
with
a
pen-
@ Tape counter
e Press the CLEAR button to reset the tape counter to
“000”.
e The tape counter will be automatically reset to “000”
when the cassette tray is opened.
@ Continuous playback
When the end of the tape is reached the auto reverse
mode will be engaged automatically, playing back the
reverse side of the tape. Continuous playback will con-
tinue for 5 times and then be cancelled.

When the “TAPE” source input is selected, the remote
control’s basic operation buttons can be used to control
tape operations.
