signal

being
sent

programme

(“NEWS’

displayed.

it
is

“NONE”

appear.

the
SELECT
button
repeatedly
to
select
the
type
of
programme
that
you
want
to
search
for
(ROCK
for
example).

Press
the
PTY
button
again.
“PTY”
will
appear
on
the
function
display
and
PTY
search
will
begin.
Every
time
a
station
is
received
the
TUNED
indicator
will
light
and
the
frequency
will
be
displayed.
PTY
search
will
continue
until
the
type
of
programme
being
searched
for
is
tuned
in.
If
you
selected
NONE
in
step
3,
pressing
the
PTY
but-
ton
will
cancel
PTY
search.
The
PTY
mode
can
be
can-
celled
by
pressing
the
CLEAR
button.

programme
type
being
searched

not
found,
PTY
search
will
continue
once
through
all
the
frequencies
and
stop
at
the
frequency
where
it
was
started.
The
TP
search
function
searches
for
stations
that
are
broad-
casting
traffic
information.

Identification)
signal.
If
no
sig-
nals
are
found
TP
search
will
stop
at
the
frequency
where
it
started.
The
AF
search
function
searches
for
alternative
frequencies
for
the
station
that
you
are
listening
to
in
order
to
provide
the
best
reception.
Not
all
stations
have
alternative
frequencies.
The
AF
indicator
lights
on
the
system
FL
display
when
a
station
that
has
alternative
frequencies
is
tuned
in.
If
this
indicator
is
not
lit
the
following
procedure
will
have
no
effect.
M@
Press
the
AF
button.
“AF”
will
appear
on
the
function
display,
the
AF
indicator
will
flash
and
the
alternative
frequency
will
be
selected.
CT
adjust
function
The
CT
adjust
function
adjusts
the
system's
clock
to
the
time
being
sent
by
the
station
you
are
listening
to.
Press
the
TUNER
button
until
the
FM
band
is
se-
lected.
ech,
Press
the
CT
button.
“CLOCK’
will
appear
on
the
system
FL
display
and
the
clock
will
be
adjusted.
Even
if
the
RDS
indicator
is
lit,
if
no
CT
data
is
being
sent,
“NO
CT”
will
appear.
Station
information
display
Whenever
TUNER
input
is
selected
the
following
station
in-
formation
will
be
automatically
displayed
on
the
system
FL
display.

The
remote
control's
DISPLAY
button
can
also
be
pressed
repeatedly
to
scroll
through
the
station
information.
