Inserting the batteries
1 While pressing the hook
with your finger, pull the lid
up.
2 Insert the batteries making
sure that the polarities (+/—)
are aligned correctly.
Remote control usage range
e When operating the remote
control, make sure that it is
pointed at the remote sen-
sor window on the main unit.
The remote control will op-
erate within a range of 30°
to the left or right of the sys-
tem and up to 7m from it.
When batteries become old,
the transmitting range of the
remote control will lessen. If
this happens, please replace
the batteries with new bat-
teries.

Remote control cautions
© Do not drop the remote control or touch the buttons
with wet hands. This could cause damage.
e Avoid using the remote control in places subject to di-
rect sunlight or place subject to high temperatures or
high humidity.
e Do not disassemble the remote control.
Battery cautions
Wrong usage of the batteries may cause leakage of bat-
tery liquid or rupture. Please take the following precau-
tions.
@ When replacing the batteries, replace both batteries at
the same time. Do not mix old batteries with new ones
or use different battery types together.
When not using the remote control for a long period of
time, remove the batteries. If not removed, leakage may
occur.
lf leakage occurs, wipe the battery compartment thor-
oughly.
Do not try to recharge batteries.
Do not throw batteries into a fire.
