3.2 Routing with extend and camped-on release
When routing an external call to a busy internal set, the attendant can put the call on hold. When
the busy internal user hangs up, it is not rung. The external call on hold is signaled to the
attendant. The attendant can then route it to the called user.
The attendant is in conversation with an external party.
1. The attendant dials the number of the desired internal set. This set is busy.
2. To transfer the call, the attendant presses the softkey: Announce
The busy internal
user quickly hangs
up
He/she is informed that the attendant wants to reach him/her.
Transfer
The attendant may transfer the external party to the internal
party by pressing the softkey.
The busy internal
user does not
quickly hang up
Selecting the number of the external caller allows the attendant to:
Announce
Attempt to reach again the internal party by pressing the
softkey.
Intrude
Barge in the conversation between the two correspondents by
pressing the softkey.
Transfer
Inform the busy internal user that an external party wants to
reach him/her, then transfer the external party to the internal
user after he/she has hung up, by pressing the softkey.
3.3 Sending a calibrated cut-off or flash
This feature sends a calibrated cut-off or flash on the line before sending dialed digits in
transparency mode.
Flash: Pressing the Flash softkey sends a calibrated pulse to the remote piece equipment. This
remote equipment can then return a tone inviting the attendant to continue dialing.
3.4 Temporary hold of automatic transfer
If the automatic transfer mode is activated, the current call is automatically transferred to a free
user after the attendant has dialed the user number.
The feature is enabled when the checkbox next to the feature label is validated.
When receiving an external call while the Automatic transfer is enabled, deactivate temporarily the
automatic transfer by pressing on the softkey: Transfer off.
