alien Webcam
alienWebcam is a very useful software
module that allows you to capture
snapshot images from any of your
camera channels and automatically
upload them to a web server for display
on your company website.
How does it work?
alienWebcam connects to alienDVRs,
takes snapshot images and then saves them on a PC or on to a website URL. This
means companies can use the alienDVR to provide webcam pictures or even provide
timed photo snapshots.
alienWebcam also has a timelapse feature which records snapshots at di erent times
of the day and saves them locally. Third party software can then be used to create a
high speed video of a set time period - often seen on TV to depict owers blooming
or seasons changing.
Who uses it?
This software has been used to provide snapshot images of buildings being
constructed, traffi c monitoring and even on a golf course to show website users
the current conditions! Of course, it’s also great for providing promotional webcam
images of any type of business online.
