  If the AlienTech Automobile Accessories tool cannot perform reading or writing, relaunch the K-Suite software without pressing SKIP on the main window. Ensure the green LED on the tool's left side is lit; if not, contact Technical Support for repair arrangements. Verify you're using the correct cable and accessories between K-TAG and the vehicle or ECU, ensuring they are intact and properly connected. Check and redo any soldering if necessary. Confirm that both the K-TAG and the ECU are powered. Ensure you've selected the correct Family for the connected ECU and that the blue LED on the tool's left side is lit while communicating with the ECU. If problems persist, contact Technical Support with the error code and a detailed description of the operations performed.

  If the K-Suite software for your AlienTech Automobile Accessories doesn't recognize the tool, first check that the tool is correctly connected to your computer using the supplied USB cable and that the red LED is lit. Make sure the USB cable isn't damaged; if possible, try another suitable USB cable, preferably the one supplied in the standard kit. Avoid using extension cords or other USB cables, as non-Alientech Srl USB cables may cause issues. If you must use a different USB cable, ensure it's shielded. If the problem continues, contact Technical Support.

  If you encounter the error message "ECU not identified" with your AlienTech Automobile Accessories, re-launch the K-Suite software without pressing SKIP on the main window and try again. If the problem persists, send the file read from the ECU, all data related to the vehicle, and the LOD file to the Technical Support Service so they can check the original file and possibly enable the recognition of the ECU.

Why are some Families grayed out and not enabled in AlienTech Automobile Accessories?

  If some of the Families you are entitled to are displayed with a gray background and are not enabled in AlienTech Automobile Accessories, re-launch the K-Suite software without pressing SKIP on the main window. If you have a subscription, check that it has not expired and that the Family belongs to the package purchased, otherwise, get in contact with your sales rep. If the K-Suite software is updated, the subscription is valid, and the Family is included in the package purchased, contact the Technical Support Service.
